    Look at historical copies of sites as they were indexed in the past … the main site is a wealth of open source media including close to every Grateful Dead show ever performed!

Determine when a given URL was last updated

In the address bar

  • navigate to the URL in either Firefox or Chrome
  • Insert this command (only) into the address bar=> javascript:alert(document.lastModified)
  • Hit enter on keyboard
  • a popup will appear over the page which will contain the last edit date of the URL
  • however this popup can be and is blocked by many servers

Using google

  • go to google search
  • prepend the domain name / full URL (without the leading https://) with inurl: FOR EXAMPLE: inurl:webprosmeetup.org/site-analysis-tools/
  • execute the search (click enter)
  • go to the address bar and at the end of the query string URL append &as_qdr=y15
  • Click enter
  • the last published date will appear in the resulting display of listings
